Work Life Balance

PODCAST TEMPLATE (17).png

Is there really a balance between work and life? There’s a lot of talk out there about establishing boundaries, having hard work hours and shutting down every evening and weekend.

That strategy doesn’t work for everyone, and I’m one of those people. I find that my most creative times come up when I least expect it and I want to be able to jump in and out of work between homeschooling my four children and playing mom-taxi to soccer games.

How do I do it? Easy. Well, it’s easy now that I’ve found my rhythm.

Not only do I have established systems to help me determine what’s a priority and what can wait, but I’ve taught my kids how to use these same systems--so they can take charge of things like college research.

Find out how my daughter Maggie is using my system to keep track of the colleges she wants to attend, who has actively scouted her and who she needs to follow up with. (This sounds a lot like reaching out to prospects, booking discovery calls and following up with those prospects, doesn’t it?)
